Olga Alexopoulou’s art is related directly to the research, techniques, and chemical properties of colours. For long she has been devoted to the study of blue colour, not unlike many great artists in the past, establishing even the discovery of a new hue of blue, the Quantum Blue. She was particularly involved in graffiti and painting on large surfaces. This work is part of another creative occupation, painting on porcelain, where she enriches a traditional technique with her knowledge derived from physics and chemistry.
