Baboussis. During her studies she received scholarship and prize by the State Scholarships Foundation. Furthermore, she studied Drama at the Drama School of the National Theatre of Greece and she completed postgraduate studies- MA in Theatre Arts/ Performance at Goldsmiths College, University of London. She also studied German at the University of Athens. She lives and works in Athens, Greece.
Filippakopoulou’s approach is clean-cut, almost abstract. Her work often charts the relationship of human beings with space, both urban and natural. Where figures are present, they are by no means dominant, as her concern is their place in their surroundings, their link to or their distance from them.
